If they made all major games day-one, it would be worth it, imo. But then, worth is subjective.

I'm a month in on getting a ps5 and bought 1 month PSN plus essential £10.99 and it has a shit ton of games available in library to try out. 

So I'd say it's worth it for many, as I've not the same time anymore downloading titles like ff7 intergrade I'd have to rush and complete

Imagine softare that you can run old ps1 titles in, and machine ai upscale everything to run in a newer engine, clean up / match up textures to 4k hi res, no jaggies, 60/120fps, and put them on the ps plus.

New first party games at, or at least close to launch. Maybe 90 days after lunch would work. Otherwise, I can't justify it.

That meager amount should just be a perk of Essential or Extra members, but I'm bringing it up anyway as something new I've noticed.

Not worth it for me. I canceled my auto renew and I am in the process of building a gaming rig. The ps5 is $500 + $200 to upgrade the hdd and now online over 5 years is $400..... $1100 in total.  Duplicate similar math for xbox..  over 2k or I could build a rig and get xbox and Playstation games....

Congrats to MS and Sony, you have pushed a console gamers to migrate to PC, given PC suddenly doesn't seem that expensive anymore.
