To be honest, it simply means personally that there's more and more people interested in hyped games they can't play in the moment xD

Love to see it. Especially with the outrage around this game lol.

Reset banning discussion and twitter weirdos making programs to see who streamed the game... Sad af.

It's going to sell massive numbers as well in spite of the sad boycott attempt. I've never seen Amazon rankings this strong, most of platforms were top 100 on Amazon US for most of the month before release, with PS5 being top 100 for well over a month before release and top 40 for most of the month before it's release. Now here we are between the release date on the deluxe and special editions and there are 6 different SKU's on Amazon US top 100, including 3 in the top 20, even the Switch and last gen versions are selling well and they don't release until April for last gen and July for Switch. And it's not just Amazon US, game is ranked either extremely well or very well on quite alot of other countries' Amazon charts as well, including UK, Australia, Italy, Japan, Germany, France, Spain, Mexico, Brazil, India, Canada, Sweden, and Saudi Arabia.

Wait, there's a boycott going on?

I watched a bit of gameplay yesterday, and it seems like a beautiful game. I like how you can customize the main character and yet they have dialogues at cutscenes. It's not like Skyrim where your character seems to have no emotions or voice.

Over 1 million f***ing losers signed that petition. Because someone who is their ideological ally has a slightly different opinion on one topic.

Human cigarette Hasan Piker's own audience effectively bullied him into not playing it though, so it's not all bad.

Actually it was pretty huge but the thing is ...

Video games boycott descending from the depths of the internet echo chambers haven't done much historically really for games which received enormous amount of hype.

Just like what happened when Pokémon released Sword/Shield during the no National Pokédex crisis. The game ended up being the second best selling game in the franchise lol.

Shows that the ridiculous outrage over this game is almost entirely online and that normies don't care. If any good will come from the outrage it'll be people turning against the radicals. Also I wonder how much GTA 6 will break this record. Wouldn't surprise me at all if it literally doubles this.

Safe to say the boycott didn't work. No such thing as bad publicity?

Got me curious what all the uproar is about, still don't really understand it (English is not my native language, maybe I'm missing something)
https://www.glamour.com/story/a-complete-breakdown-of-the-jk-rowling-transgender-comments-controversy

I'm just thankful to the transgender community since our kid's school is now finally taking bullying seriously. Our youngest has been bullied for years, yet recently his main bully targeted our kid's friend as well, who is transgender. So now we suddenly have a counselor at school, the kids had a sit down with the principal, talked it out with all involved and they got special privileges (pass) to leave class when they feel threatened.

Anyway, JK Rowling had nothing to do with the game, so this bickering over definitions is not going to stop me from getting the game. The CAD 90 price tag does that already. Reviews need to be really good to jump into another Harry Potter game. So far they've all been snooze fest to plain bad. (Anyone remember the Kinect version lol)
