To be fair the initial PC release wasn't that bad. I don't recall any game breaking bugs at least. So if they were watching that rather than the console versions it could've been fine.

I'm kind of surprised it didn't get reviewed bombed more due to the controversy. The PS5 version currently has a 9.1 user score on metacritic.

Left wingers have done plenty of boycotts (or at the very least virtue signaled for it), but I'm struggling to think of a time when a game got review bombed for left wing political reasons.
