3rd time it's happened this year. And this was almost entirely Series S sales.

Switch and Splatoon continuing their domination.

DQ:X sold great. Shouldnt be any arguments about future DQ games skipping Switch.

PS5 is disappointing this week.

hmm 5.5 seems a bit out of reach but you never know

I'm guessing both systems are still selling out whatever they put on shelves in Japan like much of the world.  So whoever releases more consoles in a given week between the two wins the week.  But yes Xbox is doing fantastic this generation so far.

I wonder if DQX Offline will get a western release?

Switch YTD Hardware Sales Comparison

After 38 weeks

2022: 3.29 million
2021: 3.82 million

The whole DQ argument I been seeing is mute. Anyone thinking DQXII is skipping nsw isn't paying close attention to the market. 

Splatoon 3's total with the known digital numbers would already put it above 4m in the region and with in a week as well.

Can't remember the second games total but I think S2 with digital would be pass the 5m mark.
