250k is a good baseline for PS5 for the next 3 months

Xbox is also doing fantastic compared to Xbone

I wonder if the saturation point will be reached early this gen, or if this gen people are willing to buy more hardware or if simply more people are spending with video games

PS5 + Xbox Series being over 400k becoming a consistent thing would be great.

"Xbox One sold 420 units." Nice

Next targets:

Playstation 5: Xbox at 24.65 million (2.82m left)

Xbox Series: Master System at 20.84 million (4.71m left)

Seems like shortages are quickly becoming a thing of the past and it’s about time. I really want to see how much each console is actually capable of selling.

I think the PS5 will reach it's target next.  Although I think the Switch will pass the PS4 before X|S passes the Master System.

Switch at below 50% now.

The rate that Switch is down YOY is decreasing; back in April it was down 28.9% YTD from 2021, now that has dropped to 23.1%.

yep, because in the weeks after may/june switch slowed a little bit last year because of the OLED announcement.

The OLED was announced in early July, yet 2022 started to reduce the gap in May and June, so it wasn't just that.
