In 2020:

[NSW] eBaseball Powerful Pro Yakyuu 2020 (Konami, 07/09/20) – 94,876
[PS4] eBaseball Powerful Pro Yakyuu 2020 (Konami, 07/09/20) – 91,547

Now:

[NSW] eBaseball Powerful Pro Baseball 2022 <SPT> (Konami) {2022.04.21} (¥7.500) - 92.724
[PS4] eBaseball Powerful Pro Baseball 2022 <SPT> (Konami) {2022.04.21} (¥7.500) - 54.539

Bet with Liquidlaser: I say PS5 and Xbox Series will sell more than 56 million combined by the end of 2023.

The lack of PS5 release for Ebaseball is certainly a little disappointing considering the continued deadness of the PS4.

NSW will soon pass the 3DS after more than 5 years on the market. 3DS might have been frontloaded, but it still sold A LOT.

Since the PS5 plays PS4 games, and Ebaseball isn't exactly the kind of game that cries out for a next gen showcase, I'm not sure a dedicated PS5 version would've made that big a difference.

The Series S+GP combo is doing wonders for Microsoft over there. So a 10k units week is actually possible after all.

So the same on switch but big drop for ps4. This is evidence ps4 is dying fast. It's 9 year old people losing interest

Great week for Xbox Series. In fact, one of the best weeks for it.

I have a Youtube channel... A Twitter, and... Yeah.

Well since the Switch version sold the same, while only the PS4 version had a big drop, I feel like a PS5 version would simply bridge some of that gap.

LoL, this seems like a copy and paste of my argument in last week famitsu thread

Playstation dying and Switch unable to fully recover third party market while their own IPs keep breaking all time records

That's a pretty big spin to try to paint stable sales on Switch as a bad thing. It's not Nintendo's fault PS is failing. If third parties want to stay relevant in Japan, there's a simple answer, support the only console Japanese gamers really care about.
