Really good match up, I think team DS takes it

I think it's not even dependent on how much Nintendo can sell, but rather how much they can produce, with several parts being in critical supply with the current  chip crunch.

As such, my take is: If the chip crunch eases fast enough, the Switch will win. If not, the DS will prevail.

Switch will be down until the OLED model hits the shelves. The question is how it goes from there.

Updated numbers with WEEK 28!

Same as the previous weeks, PS4 and XB1 are continuing to grow the difference slightly between their predecessors in 2015,
while Nintendo Switch continue to lose more and more momentum in comparison to the DS's best (52w) year - 2007 !

Updated numbers with WEEK 29!
Adjustments for all three consoles have been made.

At this point in time during their respective years, the PS3, Xbox 360 and Nintendo DS sold through these percentages of their sales:

PlayStation 3 '15 - 63.27 %

Xbox 360 '15 - 49.23 %

Nintendo DS '07 - 43.28 %

If each of these percentages were to hold for all 3 systems this year, these would be the estimated final yearly totals for all 3 in 2021:

PlayStation 4 '21 ~ 2,574,700 units

Xbox One '21 ~ 1,153,250 units

Nintendo Switch '21 ~  27,050,000 units
