Thank you for all your hard work
It is an interesting read

Interesting how Xbox Series is doing better than the predecessors so far. But the Xbox 360 had very good legs, let's see if it will continue like that.

Nice

To be honest it's what I expected, the 360 was a very slow and long seller and the Xbox One is just poor. But it's very surprising to me how close the XBO is to the Series. Honestly the end of 2022 was killer for the series.

Xbox Series sold 3.73m in the holiday quarter. Xbox One sold 4.96m in the equivalent quarter.

So before the holidays Xbox Series was ahead by 2.4m, now it is only ahead by 1.1m. This holidays was a disaster for the Xbox Series.

I never expected that Xbox One could start giving the Series a run for it's money considering how much better I think the Series is, but the first party output remains absolutely abysmal and is taking it's toll.

The charts and tables for Japan in the OP have been updated to the latest week.

Most notably PS5 posted it's strongest ever week except launch with sales of 93k, this now puts it ahead of the Gamecube launch aligned and only 15k behind the PS4.

The charts and tables for Japan in the OP have been updated to the latest week which is the 118th week of sales for PS5/XSX and the 311th week of sales for the Switch.

Most notably this week PS5 for the second week in a row has posted it's best ever sales in Japan outside of launch week. PS5 has now overtaken the PS4 launched aligned in Japan.

Hopefully VGC will soon post global numbers for January so I can do the monthly update for global sales.

PS5 is on fire in Japan outselling the Switch two weeks in a row and massively up you, with next to no software sales

Please excuse my (probally) poor grammar
