Amazon Surprisingly Removing One Of The Best Sci-Fi Shows Of All Time From Prime Video

The Expanse.

Watch it before dickhead Amazon removes it, I think it is one of the best sci-fi shows I have ever watched, it is amazing and this makes me annoyed, it's a show that when it was cancelled, Jeff Bezos personally stepped in because he was a fan of the show and kept it alive for a few more seasons but even that isn't enough for these shitty corporations and their desire to save a few bucks.

Can't be as bad as David Asslav and how he treats animated properties at Warner Bros. *drops anvil wrapped in barbed wire on said bitch of a CEO*

Goddamn it! Is there a 4K blu-ray set available? I'm planning on re-watching it this year. I'm also getting the "Arcane" collection when it releases. The age of streaming is becoming less and less desirable by the day.

It seems it finally released in the states, on regular blu-ray, for nearly $60 for S5 and again nearly $60 for S6. That's imported from the states, so shipping + brokerage fees, import duties on top. No Thanks. Season 1 to 4 are available here (Canada) 5 and 6 never released here.

Fuck streaming, first it took everything I watched on the sci-fi channel away (to different streaming services ugh), now I can't even decently buy the stuff I want to watch anymore.

It was never desirable beyond convenience, worse quality, no extras. Convenience went out the door as well with Disney+, Amazon Prime, Hulu, Roku, Stack, Crave, HBO+, Paramount+, and so on. The golden age of TV peaked with TiVo + Cable. Now every year we get less channels, everything goes through the cloud (can't watch recorded programs when our isp has issues) and still the same lousy compressed quality.

But eh, I'm watching Lost on Netflix now. Didn't like it when it came out, but through everything else getting worse I enjoy it now. Not enough to pay $254 to import the series lol. I like the slower paced editing from the golden age of tv.

Maybe if enough people get fed up with streaming, blu-ray players will improve? Here's hoping. Why do I need to sit through FBI warnings every time I watch a blu-ray, no reason it can't load straight to the start like streaming services.... Just BS to make it inconvenient. Then it dares to ask to connect to the internet, to show me downloaded commercials, wtf. (4K) Blu-ray great quality, pita to watch a series on. The disc swapping is the least of the issues with blu-ray. Total user unfriendly experience.

Watched "Dune Part Two" via Netflix

Loved it, more enjoyable than the first one and felt more like the original 1980s one which I loved.

Cant wait for Part Three next year :)!

Speaking of which, David Lynch died after fleeing the wildfires.

One of the greatest directors out there, not making it easy for viewers, but it is always worth the investment in focus to follow the script. RIP. :(
