The Adventures of Tintin

A fun and nicely old fashioned romp. Really got the sense that both the cast and Spielberg were enjoying the hell out of themselves with this one.

Really underappreciated adventure flick. A new game just got announced and I was glad to see I'm not the only one who really wants a sequel.

Just watched John Wick: Chapter 4.
It's easily the best in the franchise and I loved the first three. A feast for the eyes and ears. A ballet of death.
The choreography, camera work, sound design and sound track, lighting, it all works together to create one of the most well made and entertaining movies ever. The action goes even further over the top than in Chapter 3 and it fully embraces it's craziness which propells it to even bigger hights. Brilliantly made pure killing fun.

The characters all go full philosophical in the talking scenes which I like a lot. Gives it more depth. There are several wacky and memorable characters that stand out. Solid acting from everyone. Donnie Yen stands out in particular with some great physical acting as a blind man. The villain is as hateable as it gets. You just want him to die.

The final hour of the movie has several very unique set pieces with absolutely some of the best action scenes ever made and brilliant camera work with several over two minute long takes without any cuts.

It also has some hilarious moments.

This is in the top 3 of my favorite action movies next to Mad Max: Fury Road and Mission Impossible: Fallout.

Looking back at some previous episodes of 9-1-1. Wish I could remember which episode it was with the birthday clown who had an accident with a playhouse, felt bad for him.

I watched "NOPE" on Amazon Prime last week and enjoyed it.

Anyways, I finished the following anime in the last two weeks

-To Your Eternity 2nd Season
-Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? IV: Part II
-Megaton Musashi 2nd Season
-Ningen Fushin: Adventurers Who Don’t Believe in Humanity Will Save the World
-Irresponsible Captain Tylor
-Irresponsible Captain Tylor OVA
-Trigun Stampede
-My Hero Academia 6
-Chillin' in My 30s after Getting Fired from the Demon King's Army
-Blue Lock
-Boruto: Naruto Next Generations

Gonna finish In/Spectre 2nd Season later tonight.

As for what I'm planning to start watching - gonna watch One Piece Red and Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero.

John Wick: Chapter 4-I just saw it last night, it was fucking amazing. They couldn't have ended on a higher note for this series if they tried. I'm not kidding when I say everything and everyone was pushed to their max potential in this. The fight scenes put The Raid's to shame, they were that damn good. My jaw was on the floor the whole time, them numchucks, man. My mind was blown how they managed to pull off all them stunts and still kept the stakes which somehow only got higher as the film progressed with John finding new creative ways to take out goons from set piece to set piece. Even Bowery King steals the show with some unexpectedly badass dialog, the "you gotta look good for when you get married or buried" line got a nice smirk from me in the theater.

M3gan (Unrated)-I just got done watching this on blu-ray. To put it's simply, it's what the Child's Play remake should've been. It takes some obvious plot cues from Child's Play 2019 (the most obvious being the A.I. doll), only this time, I actually cared about the family, who were handled much better in this. I look forward to the sequels, which one has already been greenlit.

Clips of The Adventures of Sam & Max Freelance Police. Amazing show that was unceremoniously canceled. -_-

Saw "The Whale" yesterday, the movie itself was pretty good, but Fraser's job was truly spectacular to see. Been watching "The Shield" on Prime, but season 1 disappeared a few days back, all the other seasons are still available. No idea why. I'm also gonna finish "Your Honor" pretty soon, all of season 2 is out now.
Been watching "The Mandalorian" season 3, and so far; it's been a bit of a letdown. It has tumbled down in quality since seasons 1 and 2, in my opinion. Maybe someone else has interfered? Don't know, but the show is definitely declining (again, in my opinion).

Saw a new Bob Hearts Abishola last night. Apparently, if this show is accurate, 99% of Nigerians don't smile, don't have fun, and don't show love. This is why I prefer Wakanda.

I wanna see a full localization of that film into Teesside English.

Child’s Play had the legacy, but M3gan had James Wan and Jason Blum.
