Last night's 9-1-1 Lone Star showcased perfectly why I hate private medical practices.

Space Jam: I just got done watching the original Space Jam for the first time in decades on HBO Max. Upon revisiting it all these years later, I've come to the realization that it's one of those "guilty pleasure"-type movies: deep down, you know it's not good (Tunes rocket-sized plot holes ), but you can't help but get a little enjoyment out of. And it still has one of the catchiest theme songs ever to this day.

By all accounts, it's a masterpiece compared to New Legacy, which I still haven't watched yet and don't know if I can bring myself to.

The Night Agent: I also started a new series that just premiered on Netflix, I saw it in my Recommendations hub and was like "what the hell?" Glad I did because I'm 4 episodes in and it's a pretty good espionage/spy thriller series. Love the performances (Robert Patrick always brings it) and it takes a few drastic turns along the way while still being a well-paced and exhilerating series ripe with character development that doesn't waste too much time with exposition like other OSs of its kind.

Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog, specifically nearly every scene with the show's take on Dr. Robotnik. For all it's flaws, the show at least had the most entertaining version of the wicked doctor.

I just saw the live action Pinocchio movie on D+....

What the hell did they do with this movie?

What was that ending? Where was the rest of the movie? Like they rushed the ending and completely forgot about the original story of the original animated film.

Edit: They low keyed stated at the end "There are other versions where he turned into a boy" - so they didnt forget about it, just flat out left it out.

The introduction of a new support character to assist the MC was great but they completely botched the blue fairy....was there a reason why they made the fairy bald..? Also in the original movie The Blue Fairy appears 3 times - beginning ,somewhere in the middle and at the end but in the live action, only in the beginning.... so they purposely cut off the importance of the blue fairy and just rushed the ending....

I dont have high expectations for Peter Pan and The Little Mermaid....hopefully they are better than...whatever Pinocchio became lol.

Disney wouldn't be in a financial mess if they'd stop making these shitty remakes. I knew they'd all suck after I saw the Jungle Book remake. -_-

Yeah, I don't think Disney is in a financial mess. All of these shitty remakes have made a lot of money, for whatever reason. I haven't watched any, not even on streaming, but many people do. And then they own Marvel, which is also making plenty of money despite a steep drop in quality, and then they own Star Wars, which also made tons of money despite a steep drop in quality, and now they also own Avatar, which made ridiculous money without a drop in quality (yet).

Avatar's just FernGully with bestiality and space marines.

Gonna repost here what I wrote in the Club Nintendo thread:

I just saw The Super Mario Movie and it was fucking glorious. I loved it. So much fun. Brimming with energy, life and character. Hilarious throughout.
I had a broad grin on my face the whole time. Pure fun. Recommend it for everyone.

And btw, there was zero cringe. Don't know what anyone would find cringy here.

Best animated movie since Incredibles 2.

Watching Chadtronic's Cursed Commercials #42. The first commercial shown there makes me me wanna find whoever approved of the commercial itself and punch them to the fucking moon.
