I mean future persona games at or close to launch, since P5 was very popular internationally (even Joker made it into smash before other well known characters). Unless Sony and Nintendo funds them so it can be exclusive then there should be no downsides of making it on multiple platforms.

Yeah, I hope Altus would make games for the most popular console in Japan (and the World)
Given that the Super Mario Bros 35 direct was 10 days before the games release anniversary in japan and this will be 3-4 days before the release date of the original Zelda 35 year ago in Japan. I think it is very likely we see something from the franchise even if that something is dlc for Age of calamity.

I actually see manufacturer exclusivity as stronger exclusivity than having it also on PC (console exclusive) or cloud, because in this case at least people with other brand preferences can enjoy the game.

It wasn't me, but they are right. Not that it matters. What's important is it's a Nintendo exclusive. I can enjoy Hyrule Warriors 1 on my Wii U, my New 3ds XL, or my Switch. Microsoft fans can enjoy Gamepass on various devices too. All about the company exclusives!

Technically they are right. However, the people who used to make that argument would usually use that fact to say the Switch had no system sellers at launch which was oh so wrong.
