Forums - Nintendo - I have no idea what to play next on Switch.

The title says it all. I don't  really have a backlog. That's  the result of Nintendo's kind of poor calendar in 2020.  I just finished Age of Calamity which I surprisingly liked quite a lot, but now I don't know what game to play next. Do you have any suggestion on Switch? I don't have any  consoles from other constructors.

Here's a list of games I have (and mostly completed) on switch

NINTENDO

- Zelda BOTW
- Zelda LA
- Mario Odyssey
- Mario  Maker 2
- New super mario bros U
- MK8DX
- Splatoon 2
- Xenoblade chronicles 2
- Xenoblade chronicles DE
- Luigi's Mansion 3
- SSBU
- Donkey Kong TF (incomplete)
- Yoshi crafted world
- Pokemon sword
- Pokemon Let's Go Pikachu
- Pikmin 3 DX
- HW Age of Calamity
- Paper Mario TOK
- Mario All-star 3D
- Animal Crossing New Horizons
- Astral Chain
- Super mario party
- Brain Age

OTHER

- Hollow Knight
- Okami
- The Witcher 3
- Crash N sane trilogy (incomplete)
- Skyrim (incomplete)
- AC the rebel collection
- DB Xenovers 2
- Bayonetta I and II
- Hades
- Dead Cells
- Wonder Boy
- FAST RMX
- The Last Campfire
- Gris
- Ori and the blind Forest
- Ori and the will of the wisps
- Rayman Legends
- Sonic Mania
- Celeste
- Fe

And that's it I think. Based on the list, what would you  recommend? I'd rather buy physical games but anything will do at this point.

Based on what I've played, I would recommend:

- Yooka Laylee and the Impossible Lair

- Trine 4

- Doom 2016

- Doom Eternal

- Hellblade

- Wolfenstein II

- Hotshot Racing

Azure Striker Gunvolt: Striker Pack
Gunvolt Chronicles: Luminous Avenger iX
Daemon X Machina
Dragon Ball FighterZ
Fallen Legion Revenants
Fire Emblem: Three Houses
Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate
Octopath Traveler
Rune Factory 4
Transiruby
Trials of Mana
The World Ends With You

Replay Hollow Knight. Its the best you can do at this point.

  • Katamari Damacy
  • Dragon Quest Builders 2

... really, these two games are amazing!

If you got these, then try:

  • Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE
  • Hyrule Warriors
  • Immortals Fenyx Rising
  • Among Us
  • Armello
  • Spiritfarer
  • Child of Light
  • Valkyria Chronicles 4
  • Oxenfree
  • Super Smash Bros Ultimate

That should be enough to keep you occupied a few days.

Damn, the Switch has too many games. Help!

My bet with The_Liquid_Laser: I think the Switch won't surpass the PS2 as the best selling system of all time. If it does, I'll play a game of a list that The_Liquid_Laser will provide, I will have to play it for 50 hours or complete it, whatever comes first.

Hint: The Switch has third party games, too.

There are the games I have still yet to finish besides the ones you listed, if it can help:
- Spyro Trilogy
- Doom Eternal
- Okami
- Hellblade
- Wolfenstein Youngblood
- Warframe (despite the fact that you can't actually finish the game)
- Dragon Ball FighterZ
- Darksiders
- Saint Row 3
- Bioshock collection
- Borderlands collection
- Final Fantasy 7

Digimon Cyber Sleuth is a great title.

You know it deserves the GOTY.

Thanks for the replies! I'll watch the trailers of some of your suggestions!

I might check out Trine 4, Darksiders and Yooka Laylee and the Impossible Lair.

Forgot about Hellblade being on Switch.
I'm not fond of horror games. Does Hellblade fall under that category?
I mean, I really don't like games with jump scares and stuff like that.

Same question for the Bioshok collection?
