After releasing a trailer for the KFConsole in June, many thought it was a joke, but turns out it is real and Intel's official PR Lead confirmed it and has a dedicated website for the KFC Console.

In terms of what its capable of, its the world's first console that can airfry chicken and potentially keep other foods warm while you game. Its promising 4K and 240FPS visuals, and 1TB of SSD Storage and the latest Intel Chip. This makes it more capable than the PS5 and Xbox Series X.

Tbh I'm lowkey a little interested in it, seems equivalent to a high end gaming PC and it'll be a nice flex to have a gaming console that could also cook chicken.

They will sell whatever they ship. Console launch sales are all about supply, not demand. The true test will be next year after Q4. Exclusives sell consoles.

That sounds like a massive fire hazard and refuse to believe it is real. Do you really want flammable grease around something like this? Do you really trust people to not put dumb shit they should not in a heat tray?

It is not meant to cook chicken. I merely keeps it warm, very doable with a gaming console.

The funny thing is that, this thing is going to be miles better than the Atari Box (and sell much better to boot).

KFC should make a huge push into gaming. Imagine paying £30/month for a game which includes a bargain bucket per week to sustain you. Hell people may even buy games like Fallout 76 if they included this as part of a monthly fee.

This is incredible. While the others companies avoid the overheating, KFC just embrace it. What a turn around! Can't say I am not interested, I will keep an eye on it.
