Have any of you trashing it on Stadia actually tried Stadia recently? It has fully replaced my Switch as my on the road platform. Via phone or laptop (chromebook for me) it plays great as long as you have a stable connection. I haven't played Cyberpunk on it, but I've put over 100 hours into Destiny 2 just on Stadia. Can't wait till there's cross platform play so I can hook up with my Playstation clan while I'm out of the house.

I don't care if it's 8k and comes with a free toaster. Stadia's very model is offensive to ownership. Google kills a lot of things and Stadia is no doubt going dead within a couple of years. I'd gladly sacrifice some resolution for actual ownership. Paying full price for old games you don't own is idiotic to me and offensive. When at any point they can take that away from you. I have google fiber, it's nice when it works but the regular blackouts sucks. Every couple of weeks to at least once a month it goes down for a few hours. I can still play the games I own. Could not do that with Stadia...another Google service...and recently as a couple of days ago Google has a massive outage. So yeah Stadia sucks.

Yep, if Stadia was a service like Xcloud or PSNow it would be fine, you just pay like netflix to play wherever with what is available on the service. If it was like GeForce it would also be good, you buy the games wherever you want and just hire the running of the game out of Stadia. But Stadia want both at the same time but not with the benefits of both side but mainly with the downside of both.

Whoever is running the Stadia Twitter has been having a real good week. I know people hate Stadia (or the idea of Stadia), but you cannot deny that it's the best version (aside from PC) to play on.
Right now if you have Ubisoft + (Ubisoft's subscription for PC) you can play all Ubisoft games on Stadia with no extra charge, which is kinda the same as Xbox Game Pass Ultimate where you get to stream Game Pass games at no extra charge. People praise Xbox for this, so I expect the same energy for Stadia. It's also available on Luna (Amazon's streaming service).

While I personally won't use Stadia you at least have to give it to them for this week.

I wonder how many of those 8 million preorders were on Stadia?

this was all planned so that stadia could rise!!!

Nope it is not the same. You need two subs to play those Ubi games on Stadia. On Xbox you only need one sub and all content there can be streamed.

"More importantly, all Ubisoft+ games and DLC are available to play with no special gaming hardware and even without paying for a separate Stadia Pro subscription. There are still advantages to having both Stadia Pro and Ubisoft+, though, as you’ll be able to play the games in up to 4K with HDR."

No you just need Ubisoft+.

And you need stadia sub, you don't need Stadia Pro. And does your Xbox Game Ultimate give you a capped 1080p maximum for the games you play there up to 1h a session?

I don't stream my games, so I have no idea what the resolution is capped at.

Also Stadia only has one subscription and that's Stadia Pro, which you do not need. All you need is a gmail account to access Stadia. You responded to me saying that you needed two subscriptions to use Ubisoft+ on Stadia when that was false. All you need is Ubisoft+ with a gmail account, then you have access to all Ubisoft games on PC and Stadia. Having an account and subscribing are two different things.
