eh the number is already comparable to other console launches. I wouldn't expect too many more announcements.

"We have plenty to keep you busy until Chief arrives: There will be thousands of games to play, spanning four generations, when Xbox Series X launches globally this November and over 100 optimized for Xbox Series X titles, built to take full advantage of our most powerful console, are planned for this year. And with brand new console features like hardware-accelerated Direct X raytracing, framerates up to 120 frames per second, faster loading times, and Quick Resume for multiple games, playing will look and feel better, no matter which games you choose to play on day one.

Which is contradicting your OP which reads:

"According to Microsoft, over 100 games (including improved versions) will be available for launch. I will be editing the thread with the new confirmed titles."

Yet the source says: "over 100 [...] are planned for this year".

You're right. But at least 50 launch titles it should be anyway.

OP edited.

Not great. I think I am more excited to see what it does for my old games.

I am really happy with this lineup :)

I will be playing a shittone of AC: Valhalla for weeks and day 1 I also want to play Watchdog and Gears Tactics.
Then a week or so after: Cyrberpunk will hit the fan!

Added Maneater.

Added Yakuza: Like a Dragon.

Xbox Series X|S launch lineup slowly taking shape :)

You have Yakuza listed twice.

Honestly, I don't think anything I am looking forward to is coming until The Medium but we still have 2 months that can change things. Valhalla looks great and I might be playing games I skipped this gen for whatever reason on Gamepass.

Ýeah, kind of the same. I'm more interested in AC Valhalla since I've updated myself on it watching gameplay. Looks leaps and bounds better than origins which enjoyed quite a bit but also put me back into a AC fatigue that Unity put me in. I'll likely pick it up on sale after I've finished with Cyberpunk.

I'll likely just play my older games or smash through Doom and Doom eternal Eternal on gamepass in their X1X enhanced modes, assuming they don't get patched for "Öptimised for Series X". Either way, massive jump for me coming from Xbox one S
