Nobody ever said that. Prove it.

It's a success by all standards. Doesn't have to sell like the highest selling Nintendo games to be that. |
You quote me partially. The rest of the sentence is important.
CGI-Quality said:
The rest was addressed in my second sentence. Your point was that it was a great seller, but not "on Nintendo's level". I'm simply saying it doesn't need to be. |
Respect your opinion but disagree.
Sony wants sells likewise bestselling Nintendo games.

The only ones I don't think are happening are a new Ring Fit game and Prime 4.
It would make more sense to just create DLC packs for Ring Fit throughout the rest of the Switch's lifecycle as a way to keep the game fresh, relevant, and selling throughout. The next Ring Fit game should be saved for Switch 2.
Prime 4, in 2021: HA! That's 2022 at the very earliest.
I think Bayonetta 3 is more likely than Prime 4.

LoU2 was never a flop, just a disappointment to a good number of people.

I sure hope you're wrong about Ring Fit. That'd be a huge missed opportunity if they just did a one and out with Ring Fit. There is so much potential to make a whole series of different fitness games with the Ring Fit this gen. Even Wii Fit had two games and that was a straight fitness thing, not even really a game the way Ring Fit is. They could make several different genres of games, including two player games, which would further allow them to sell standalone rings.
With how popular RFA is there would be plenty of millions of people interesting in picking up more games to use with the Ring they already have. Nintendo would drop the ball big time by not taking advantage of this and selling to their customers with more Ring Fit games to play. Some DLC additions to RFA isn't close to the same thing as building out a whole fitness series with Ring Fit. Then on Switch 2 they could sell the whole Ring Fit series from Switch in a single package to keep making tons of money off the same games, while then either continuing the series with more games next gen or bringing out a completely new fitness device as well.
Prime 4 feels like it absolutely could happen in 2021, but I could see 2022 as well. By end of next year it'll have been 3 years since they restarted development, and if they can reuse some of the code or assets from the original build that'd make things go even quicker. Regardless, unless they've really gotten stuck on something 3 years should be enough time, and more than enough time if they are able to reuse some stuff. But sure, at the absolute latest it could be 2022. But wouldn't surprise me at all to see Prime 4 as an October title next year.
I guess you think a Switch Sports game could happen next year? I really hope so. I feel like its very unlikely Nintendo will make one, because it makes sense and it'd sell lots of millions and we all know Nintendo loves to make bizarre business decisions and not to what would obviously be popular a lot of the time. I'd love to play an online version of the original Wii Sports...oh wait I just looked up Wii Sports Club and I guess that was exactly this: Wii Sports with online. So hell, if they just ported Wii Sports Club over I'd be happy, or even better a deluxe version with added sports, maybe a Sports + Resort Online game.
I think it's overtaken all but Animal Crossing.
Not really surprising, though. Limited run, includes two of the most loved 3D platformers of all time and there's not been *too much* to be excited about on Switch since April. The thirst is real.
