Here are my next set of clues:

35.  Gummi Ship

34.  The story and characters in this fantasy game bear a decent resemblance to Star Wars.  Although, I guess that means the Chewbacca role would be a bunny woman in this case.

33.  "We're tired of making the most popular franchise ever.  You make it this time."

32.  This is the first time this fantasy series had voice acting.  The main character did a lot of talking to himself as a sort of narration.

31.  The villain in this game is kind of like the Joker in a fantasy game.

#33: Super Mario Maker (which one isn't in your hint)

#32: Final Fantasy X had Tidus talk a lot to himself

both correct!  It's Mario Maker 1.  Haven't gotten the second one yet.

More hints.

36- Go on a winged lizard journey, to save the world. In this game the hero is accused of evil, but in reality he is the true savior. It was first released in 2017.

35- This entry in a long standing series featured a character for the first time that could make explosions with his sword.

34- Who knew that there are whole worlds behind paintings?

36 Dragon Quest XI

34 Super Mario 64

32 sounds like FFX, which would be interesting because The Liquid Laser has it at 32 as well.

He hasn't confirmed it yet, did he? But yes, it is FFX. And I got to my list based on scientific methodology, so maybe Liquids list is also based on objective science!

No guess at #35?

Doh, I can't believe I didn't guess FFX.  Especially I just started replaying this again with my daughter.  Man, I need to get more sleep.  Memory is really going.

I suppose Final Fantasy Tactics might fit the bill. Now my 35 is easier than you might think as well.

No. Does FFT use hexgrid?

#35 has to be unveiled soon, so another hint:

#35

a) Fight with knights, mages, elves, thieves or… merfolk?

b) Control your armies one turn at a time.

c) Turn-based tactics on a hexgrid with units able to level up and turn into advanced classes.

d) Got updates and extensions for more than 10 years.

#34 Guessed by The_Liquid_Laser: Dragon Quest Builders

#33 Guessed by The_Liquid_Laser: Pikmin

Uncharted 2: Among Thieves (PlayStation 3)

Change From Last Year: +1

The game that fulfilled the potential its predecessor hinted at. Uncharted 2 still remains a landmark title that other games in the genre are compared to, and for a good reason. It's perhaps not the absolute best game of its kind anymore, but that doesn't make it any less great. The set pieces are still among the most impressive I've ever seen in video games, and while many games have tried to match what this game did ten years ago, very few have managed to actually do that.

I still replay this game every once in a while, and always love it. It's no longer my favourite game in the series, but that doesn't take anything away from it as a game. This is an essential title that everyone should at some point experience in my opinion, if for nothing else then for the massive influence it has had on video games over the last decade.

Hi.

#35 - Despite being a somewhat old classic, a line from this game's opening has become a prominent meme just recently.
Hint 2 - That line is said by the playable character in some random alley, just before the player starts controlling the character.
Hint 3 - It's "__ ____, here we go again."

#34 - The first mainline entry in this series in almost 20 years not to start with the protagonist sleeping.

34- Chrono Trigger?

35- GTA San Andreas?

Chrono Trigger had 20 years of franchise before it? Um, no, that ain't it.

San Andreas is right. I suppose basing hints off memes is not gonna be a hit with the VGC community.

My bad, I misread it as "a 20yo franchise".

I suppose ill say Metroid Prime 3 then, fits the hints.

Majora's Mask?
