Realistically the list of people will consist mostly of games on the platform they like. That's because they play on it. That people are multi-console-owners is a new thing. So naturally they only KNOW of games on their platform. I assume your list will be mostly PS, even if you don't try it to be. That's why the event is so cool, we see the lists of others.

We have now this nifty subscribe feature.

Last year I had a shortlist of over 80 titles. Was hard to skip 30.

In all fairness, Nintendo invest high in polishing their games and has a focus on lasting fun instead of graphics or stuff that fades over time. That's why older games hold up well in the personal best of the gamers. I myself was a PC gamer, so I have not much Nintendo nostalgia. But in these few years of me playing on console Nintendo already had some games which caught my heart. If more other companies have the same level of polish and focus, the list would look different. but they mostly manage it for a time or even for a game or a series (means it mostly is bound to some persons overseeing the games). That's why this level of Nintendo dominance is understable, although still a pity. because if more companies would make games with that focus, we just would've a lot more great games.

Eugh. I played FFX, and while a fine game it didn't set my world on fire. After that Square was giving up on turn-based, so these games can't be great per definition. Maybe I try some older ones, but I doubt more than one or two really get me.

I have mine in a database from last year. To sort my list I wrote myself a little program, which asked if I prefer game A or game B and with many of these comparisons ordered them into a list. I add the new games I played and use that again.

By the way, I hope you are again at the guessing thread and guess my games that are from the last century. The more current games are guessed fine by other members too, but not the old ones.
