Off the top of my head mgs3 and Metroid prime. I'd honestly say those games upscaled to hd look better than a lot of early PS3 and 360 games

Oh definitely. they are still good looking games with great art and gameplay - my older son loves them.

It was cut down version of PC's Far Cry - which is, in my book, still one of the best FPS games ever made due to enemy AI on harder difficulties and level design.
Metroid Prime is beautiful to this day. Solstice for NES looks great and strangely modern. Banjo Kazooie has held up well when a lot of N64 games haven't.

I'm aware, but it was still crazy impressive by 6th gen console standards.

A lot of Atari games look excellent today, because of their simple but ingenious lines. Especially on this thing:

That's Majora's Mask, not Ocarina of Time. The first pic is Balder's Gate. The 1 that looks like Myst is Return to Zork. Don't know what the last rpg is supposed to be. |
The last one missing is UFO: Enemy Uknown, or in America XCOM: UFO Defense.

Oh yeah, and someone mentioned Commandos: |
Those prerendered iso games really stood the test of time quite well:
Desperados: Wanted Dead or Alive (2001)
Robin Hood: The Legend of Sherwood (2002)
For comparison, Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun (2016) in same 1024*768 resolution, though this is fully 3D game:
Rayman
Yoshi's Story (Pity the game itself sucked donkey balls)
