There's the BR.

No traiditional campaign mode this time around. Extended "story" modes on the classes and they have 3 zombies maps available at launch.

First CoD I will not buy.

Actually that's a good thing as Black Ops campaigns are the worst.

Unbelievable. Cut the campaign to cash in on a Battle Royale mode. Just plain wrong :(

It's going to be interesting to see how well this game does in the long run.

Welp, without a campaign, I have zero interest in this one.

It's actually been time that COD cut the campaign, it's a significant amount of development time, and it isn't why people play COD.

A good change imo, so they can make the multiplayer better.

As for FPS campaigns their are plenty on the market. 

Let's see how good the MP is going to be now that their isn't a campaign.

Expecting to see cool new modes, or it's going to be disappointing.

I can only talk for myself, but it was definitely the reason why I played COD. You are right though that there are enough other shooters, so I'll be just fine. Anyway, at least in my opinion, there just isn't any shooter with such a perfect smooth gameplay like Calladooty has. Either the games just run in 30 fps or the guns feel like shit or the campaign is just plain horrible like in Battlefield. I really like CoD campaigns. Sure, they are always kinda the same, but at least I always could rely on the fact that the gameplay is on point.

But whatever, I can live a year without a new CoD campaign, hopefully we'll get something next year. 

It's pretty obvious that they spent a lot of resources on developing the BR mode, it has land, sea and air vehicles, as well as many returning characters and supposedly weapons from the last 3 games.

So i guess that the BR mode is going to be the selling point, as well as what is shown at E3.
