It's already at $1.164B in less than two weeks, so it's still got at least 4-6 good weekends left, plus China. Where do you think it will end up?

It'll end somewhere between 1.7-1.9 billion

Yea, definitely see a possibility of it ending up short of the $2B mark. Those would still be great numbers. I'm thinking it passes $2B, though. Especially if it ends up growing above AOU in China. I could see it doing a little below AOU, but also think there's about the same chance it does $260M+.

Hey, feel free to go off of topic a little. Not going to piss me off any. And I agree, it was great. Personally, I think it's Marvel's best.

Eh, I wouldn't quite go that far, but it sure is right up there. I'd say Marvel has an amazing top 5 movies now with Infinity War, Black Panther, Winter Soldier and both Guardians films. I mean, personally I'd say any of those is a very respectable pick for a favorite, and anyone who says the top 5 doesn't consist of that particular lineup is just wrong in my book.

Personally, I'd switch out BP with Thor: Ragnarok. I just think Ragnarok was a great balance of action and comedy. BP was good, but there were some parts that lagged.

Well, I think it will easily beat Avengers 1 as the highest grossing Superhero movie of all-time. No doubt in my mind about that one. I also think it will go above $2 billion and also beat The Force Awakens in the Worldwide and Foreign Box Offices.
Honestly, the only other movie I can possibly see having a chance to surpass Infinity War in the Super Hero genre is Avengers 4.
If that movie doesn't do it, I really don't see how any other film can. It's looking like a bar that may never be reached again.

I've got it at $1.9 billion. It all comes down to China - the film is set to open to $200m+ OW there, but it's a matter of whether it can manage a 2x multiplier or not.

It's not going to top Black Panther domestically. After beating it by $55 million OW, its second weekend lead is down to $1 million (and Black Panther's Saturday and Sunday both topped Infinity War's). It's starting to fall off pace. And whereas Black Panther had a cushy schedule, where its biggest competition in its first five weeks was A Wrinkle in Time ($33 million OW), Infinity War has to deal with Deadpool 2 and Solo - both probable to launch around $130-150 million.

At this point, I'm going to say it finishes at $660 million in the U.S. and $1.95 billion worldwide.

I don't think it will take #1 all time in any market but it will still do really well. Somewhere ranking #2 - #4 all time in both domestic and worldwide box office.

With current tracking, Infinity War is definitely NOT heading towards your $807M domestic figure. In fact, it's not even reaching $700M. It's expected to finish a bit below Black Panther at this point.

Looks like IW is now at $1.164B. This is $78M more than TFA was at the same point in time.

I always read TFA as The First Avenger instead of The Force Awakens and have to correct myself afterwards

OT: I'd say 2 billion are possible because of international gross, but it's dropping quite fast domestically right now. If that doesn't stop then it will have a very hard time to beat Black Panther or even Avenger at the domestic box office.

It's still making more money daily than the 1st avengers, which made around 250 million more from the same point in its box office run. If IW continues to track agead it will easily be over 700 million. But i agree that it won't hit 800 million.

I will be happy if God of Cinematography James Cameron's remarks are finally honored and IW crashes and burns for Marvel, prompting them to either take a break or leave altogether.

We truly need a breather from Blockbusters...
