GOD OF WAR, i think GOW outsells Zelda on the switch.

Seeing Zelda being at almost 5 million physical and still having the whole month of december.. that's really unlikely.

Maybe if they bundle the shnitzel out of GoW which will probably happen.

I think GoW will take it during the first month but after the holidays Labo will win for sure. They will probably ad more versions of it on top of that so..

Interesting.

First time I heard about that "iconic" description to that franchise.

Edit: for the OP, I expect one to be frontloaded, and the other to maybe be an evergreen game.

God of war is extremely iconic. Epic series.

Anyway the cardboard sells the most easily imo. Too many games on ps4 competing for mindshare imo

I think people are really overestimating the market for card board toys..

0331 Happiness is a belt-fed weapon

If Labo (god, such a cringe-inducing name) were for the Wii-U, I think GOW would destroy it. But Switch is a massive thing and by proxy, it should win.

Of course, it may just bomb and disappear as well. But I think it should at least outsell GOW.

Labo is still a mystery...

But I think... unless it becomes a 1,2 Switch...Labo has more potential

God of War is a great game, squarely targetted at the young male demographic. Labo has a wider appeal, and it's so unique, it's bound to turn a few heads. It's gonna get quite a bit of attention either way, which is something that didn't happen for 1,2 Switch..

That's what I said about Amiibo and look how that went. Apparently, when you're a gamer, you think this sort of stuff is cool.

I mean, I remember way back in the day, people said the Wii would flop because it was too gimmicky, but look how that went... so as flaws as my logic may or may not be, I'm gonna' say Labo will sell more.

God of War 4 release date got announced today to be on April 20th and Labo has been announced to launch on the same day. So which do you think will sell more?

My prediction.

NA: Lifetime Labo will sell a lot more but God of War 4 will have better sales at the start.

Japan: Labo will sell a lot more at launch and lifetime than God of War 4.

Europe and the ROW: God of War will sell more at launch but Labo will slightly outsell it lifetime.

Overall I think Labo > God of War 4 in terms of sales.

I was consideringto create the same thread

I agree GoW4 will have a stronger launch. How it will look in a long term is really hard to predict. I'll say GoW4 > Labo because I think Labo wont be as successful as Nintendo hopes. But maybe I am totally wrong.

Uncharted: Drake's Fortune - 4.97M
Uncharted 2: Among Thieves - 6.74M
Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception - 6.84M

---

Uncharted 4: A Thief's End - 9.84M and counting.

I remember some people on this site predicting that U4 would sell 10M+, and many of you guys laughing at them. Well here we are on the brink of just that. It could be millions more already if VGC's tally doesn't include digital.

On that same accord, I wouldn't count out God of War.

Uncharted is a lot more mainstream than GOW...
