Maybe I'll need to save those couple of drawings I made. Or not. I won't lose sleep over it if I forgot though.

I'll miss miiverse, but it'd never be as good on a device without a resistive touch screen.
My most proudest work on miiverse;
(Splatoon Splatfest)
(Pokémon Art Academy)

It's just as easy as making new account in Twitter. I did that and I'm just dropping my BotW snaps there! |
I am not a big twitter user I even forgot my username and password

Not the same, the community is different. Finding like-minded people is on Miiverse posting in the community to a game. Hashtag does not provide the same.
Nintendo has shared how the end of Miiverse will impact SSB on WiiU and 3DS.
[3DS only] – Posting screenshots on Miiverse – You can continue to share screenshots with friends with Image Share
[Wii U only] – Sharing screenshots from gameplay, including Miiverse and friends – Sharing stages in Stage Builder, including with friends – Posting replays to YouTube – Creating Normal Tourneys – Tourney Mode will be ending entirely – Miiverse stage can still be played, but messages will not be displayed and you can’t post messages once a match is over |

Nice work (posted in the OP)
Art Academy can still live on. I love doodling on my Samsung Note, and it could work on the Switch as well.

You might be right, in Twitter you just post things into the void.
They could make an app around Twitter that filters posts by using the tags, making it easy to filter the information just for the Switch games... or you could join our VGC group next week

They have to pay people to moderate it, also they have to intergrate it into every game. Given how certain social platforms can quickly turn toxic, which can be a bigger risk to Nintendo's rep then just the technical issues involved with making Miiverse work. I can understand not bringing it back in its current form and just letting people post directly to those platforms.
But as others have stated, they are regressing in terms of communication between which is worst because you still have 'Friends' and such but with the increased base of players unless you know them already or communicate with other platforms you can't. Which may have been the plan all along to keep stranger danger out of the eco system but it is incovient for those that wouldn't apply to.
