Snake pass's controls are so bad it scares me.

Nintendo's idea of a "sale" is so bad that it scares me.

the €5 off Shovel Knight treasure trove is pretty cool, considering it's a 91% absolutely amazing package of a game

It is often touted as being the definitive way to play that game, so yeah, getting it for €5 less was enough to make me jump in and buy it, I'm sure many will do the same.

Same with Axiom Verge always wanted to pick it up... and sure, it's just €2 less but yeah... it's a great game and just saved me €7 over the two of them. Happy days.

Why not check me out on youtube and help me on the way to 2k subs over at www.youtube.com/stormcloudlive

I got it over a year ago for less than €10 in a PSN sale (cross-buy for Vita + PS home consoles) and the DLCs were free.

Good that I didn't wait until this year.

I suppose that their sales will slowly get better (very slowly). The Switch is only a few months old, so they don't want to give big sales yet.

I used to (and still kind of do) watch the Wii U and 3DS eShop sales very, very closely. Outside of once-in-stars-aligning type of events like the 30-year-old NES games for 30 cents, BOGO free game if you got Mario Kart 8 within a month of launch, and the sales for the Smash 4 launch, Nintendo only discounts its games up to 40 percent at the most. And those games that get to 30 or 40 percent tend to be games that are several years old, like VC and launch window games. Look at My Nintendo rewards to see what Nintendo typically thinks what a good idea of a sale is.

Since the Switch isn't the sales abomination that was the Wii U, Nintendo doesn't have the incentive to do those sales that make you break your neck looking back like it did with the Wii U. Oh well, it's a good problem to have.

terrible sale..will wait for more./better sales

Is there no discount for Fatal Frame V in America? That's the only game I might consider, but I'm too lazy to download and play the first two chapters to find out.

I'll be amazed the day Nintendo starts having actual decent discounts for their VC games.

Lube Me Up

Spooked out by how shitty the deals are

50% sales in the eShop are not out of the ordinary. We've even seen some 60-70% during indie promotions.
Curve Digital once had a 1€ sale, that surprised me.
