My issue with such ports is always going to be the price, considering you can get MGSV on the PS4 from the Store for under €10 it would be a very hard sell to get people to buy a downgraded version of that game on the Switch for 50+

Why not check me out on youtube and help me on the way to 2k subs over at www.youtube.com/stormcloudlive

Nah, for me it'd just be a shittier (and likley initially more expensive) version of the game.

Seems like majority leans towards no. The cycle, the dynamic of Nintendo fans and third-parties. It's a disease.

If anything would get release, it'd be PW cuz it's easily the cheapest to port that doesn't need upscaling and can pass to today's portable gaming. I'd buy it cuz I happened to like it sometimes more so than MGSV. My only problem right now is I have yet to get a Switch. I have been broke :(

I don't get this. Why would Nintendo fans buy games they don't really want, just to satisfy 3rd parties? Shouldn't 3rd parties analyze what games, series and genres sell better with Nintendo fans, and then release those? Call of Duty might fail on Nintendo systems, but games like Bomberman and Monster Hunter have proven successful, it's not that difficult to listen to what the audience wants. Buying 3rd party games for the sake of them being 3rd party just leads to more Capcom-like shenanigans (with all their software-tests for the Switch).

You know it deserves the GOTY.

MG5? No. A MGS collection? Sure

I don't like MGS 5..so no. I would love to see an updated MGS 3 though.

If it allows more people access to the game I don't see why not. I wouldn't get it on Switch even if I had the console since I can just get the PS4 version instead, and the portability is irrelevant as far as I'm concerned. Still, if Konami ever want to do it then I don't see any reason for them not to.

Generally speaking, I don't care about ports of old games. I have no problem with them, but they don't appeal to me.
Remakes, like Ratchet and Clank, and in some cases thorough remasters, like Crash, are appealing though. So, fewer ports, more remakes, please.

I own it on PS4, so no.
