I have finished Final Fantasy VII on Switch.

It was my third time playing through Final Fantasy VII (Played it on PS1 back in the early 2000s and the Steam version back in 2016).

Compared to the PC version, it didnt take me as long due to the fact that I didnt try to get a Golden Chocobo like I did with the PC version but I did all the other side quests and gotten Omnislash for Cloud which required me to get a decent chocobo for racing.

Thanks to the QoL boosts such as 3x speed and no encounters, I got my clocked time for this run down to 30 hours - technically 29 but I'm counting 30 because I did the final boss again.

Game: Final Fantasy VII
Genre: RPG
Developer: Square Enix
Publisher: Square Enix
System: Nintendo Switch (NS)
Year of Release: 2019
Length of Playthrough: 30 Hours
Total Score: 94/100

Pros
+All of the features of the Modern PC port
+QoL boosters such as 3x speed, HP/MP/Limit full and No encounters

Cons
-Black borders with no options for wide screen or for custom borders
-Like the modern PC port, cutscenes are in low resolution and FPS in battles are low FPS.

I think the best part of Mega Man Battle Network Legacy Collection is Buster Max Mode. Makes the Mega Buster strong enough to one hit kill almost any enemy or boss, great if you wanna get through the games faster.

Started on Dragon Ball Fighter Z on Switch.

Liking it so far - only played two hours (tutorial section + story mode).

Just grabbed Grounded on Switch; seems a decent port considering its origins on much stronger hardware.

This brings my Switch collection to 47 games; breathing down the neck of the Wii (50) and Xbox 360 (51) for the title of "console I own the most games for."

I honestly would've been happier if Microsoft put the arcade versions of Killer Instinct 1 and 2 on Switch.

Can I just say it seems like that you might be a little of a FF fan.

I'm a huge fan lol

My first Final Fantasy game was Final Fantasy IV (II) on SNES - first played it back in 1992 and had no idea what I was doing since I was like single digit old lol - wouldnt be able to beat it until another 10 years lol.

The Final Fantasy series is in my top 5 favorite series/IPs list - alongside Kingdom Hearts, Mario, Zelda and Pokemon.

Also too add I would love if they released an Arcade version that I could play in an actual acrade!!!

But those two games were originally playable in arcades.

Finally finished the main story of Scarlet(I think). Now time to do the DLCs.
