Nintendo publishes. :P The first game was sush a hit they want to keep this one close to home. This one is using animated visuals on Unity :P

2018

January: Project Octopath Traveler
February: Kirby
March: Yoshi
April: Fire Emblem
May: Platinum Games' game - Gut feeling says new IP
June: New 2D Mario or Super Mario Maker 2
July: Metroid Prime Trilogy HD
August: Dragon Quest XI
September: Either 2D Zelda or Skyward Sword HD (Likely the latter imo)
October: Retro Studios game (New IP/Old IP revival)
November: Pokémon
December: Animal Crossing

Something just hit my mind guys: I think Animal Crossing will come only in 2019. Why? Let's analyze history:

- Animal Crossing: City Folk released in 2008, 2 years after Wii launched
- Animal Crossing: New Leaf released in 2013 in the west, 2 years after 3DS launched

Since recently Nintendo is aiming for worldwide releases (or close to it), 2019 would be the "natural" year for Animal Crossing Switch. They probably do this because AC is a casual game, meaning it won't drive sales early on when the system is still new and expensive... better to release 2 years after when it already had a pricecut and better mindshare. That's why I think AC will only come in 2019. Next year will be Pokémon year. Mark my words.

Bet with Teeqoz for 2 weeks of avatar and sig control that Super Mario Odyssey would ship more than 7m on its first 2 months. The game shipped 9.07m, so I won
