So Nintendo is also about to clear the 700m milestone with the Switch. The truly impressive thing about Sony is just how many home consoles they magaged to sell. Nintendo who is in the business longer has only sold 280m homeconsoles, while Sonys success firmly rests on it's homeconsoles.

I hope that you are right but I am to sceptic to see that happening. Oh well I can always build a pc if PS doesn't 3xist anymore to play games SCE puts out. If SCE stops producing games all together, that will be the last day I will play games I guess.
