yes street fighter v would've sold quite a lot on xbox one, no doubt. maybe instead of the total sales between the ps4 and pc version being 1.4 million, perhaps it would be at 1.5 million with the xbox version taken into account, maybe?

on topic: a mainline monster hunter game releasing on ps4 would be insane, and would make the ps4 japan situation quite interesting because while a monster hunter game on ps4 would likely sell less than half of a monster hunter game on a nintendo handheld, i would expect a lot of consoles to be sold and at least a million for the game in japan. also, monster hunter is on the incline in america and by the time a ps4 monster hunter releases the ps4 should have close to a 25 million install base in the united states so the game could probably do very big numbers especially if sony makes it a big deal

It's quite possible it would of got 1.5 million instead of 1.4 it did with PS4/PC, I'm at least 80% sure. 

Anyway, I hope it true just so Capcom can keep digging their grave. 

How do you know the Switch is going to be the lead platform?

This is exactly what's going to happen! I know people are beating their keyboards talking about own much a MH game will sell on PS4 and XbOne in the west, but you guys only have to look at most Japanese styled games to understand that they don't sell that well over here. Saying that the game should be tailored to western audience defeats the purpose of it being a MH game without blowing out the budget. 

Because MH has pretty much always been made with the handheld in mind. I doubt they're going to make a new MH from scratch with console graphics in mind. And because of that the PS4/X1 versions will look awful. Fans won't be paying $60 for a ugly game that they know is just a ported handheld game.

I think Monster Hunter 5 will be on PS4/XB1 and Switch will get Monster Hunter 5 Pocket or whatever, similar to how the Wii got Monster Hunter Tri and the PSP got the portable line.

I dont think so. Capcom wont make two versions of the game. Especially not a big AAA game for consoles only.

Unlikely. Nintendo put money to keep this series going on 3DS. Nintendo will likely keep it going on Switch. One of the reasons Capcom stopped making MH on Sony systems aside from Nintendo's money was Sony trying to force tropy systems and online systems and console versions that complicated things. It's been easier for them to work with Nintendo on the series.

I'm 100% sure it was none of those things, and really just Capcom trying to stay at a specific level of graphics for the games. They're trying to avoid moving up to higher specs, because they can blame the graphics on hardware limitations.
