149?! You must be kidding yourself.

Maybe if you just got the console...but that's ridiculously low. Maybe the 3ds will reach that, but not the wii u

The generation is almost over for it and Nintendo has been characteristically stubborn. Nintendo has held off giving it an affordable price for a while. If Nintendo doesnt give it a price cut at Black Friday they definitely will after the NS drops. Its only a matter of time.

Nah. They're not going to be having a sale on Wii U. If they sell out then they gotta produce more, and Nintendo won't want to pay the production costs for more consoles when they got Switch around the corner. It will die as a $299 console.

OT I'm gonna be picking up a 2TB external for my Xbox One. This 500 GB stuff doesn't fly as far as I thought it would.

Sony and Microsoft have lost money on their consoles and eventually turned profit. Nintendo are truly souring the deal by not giving future consumers a deal. If they want to give the Wii U a good send off they will.  I know they like their profit, but to clear out stores, they might need to cut the price and accept a loss. Secondly, it doesnt make sense that a $299 tablet/ console would compete with another tablet at the same percievable price if the rumors are to be believed.

I would have been in trouble, but I ordered a 4TB EVO 850 for the PS4 Pro, so I should be good for a while. Between retro games and VR stuff, I am overwhelmed with games this year. Can't wait for Thanksgiving and the 11 day Christmas break. Between PSVR, PS4 Pro, and 4K HDR via my new XBR-75Z9D, I have not been this i love with gaming and electronics in over 20 years.

Yes my old HDD will be murdered by a new 1tb evo 850 ssd.

I cannot imagine toilet-free life.

Kebabs have a unique attribute compared to other consumables. To unlock this effect you need to wolf down a big ass kebab really fast, like under 10 minutes or so and wait for the effect to kick in. If done correctly your movements should feel unbelievably heavy to the point where you literally cannot move at all.

Got a 500GB Xbox One with a 3TB HDD connected to it.
10% left.

In the past 24 hours I bought Doom, Dying Light The Following Enhanced Edition and Mad Max (for a total of 47€).

Usually I only delete games that I won't ever return to. Might have to change my policy there. At least I'm able to delete the Doom demo now

Yep. Clearing out demos is the easiest policy. Free and completed games are the next tier  on the chopping block. This November is going to be intense. Such a good time to be a gamer, but such a trying time to be one who works long hours.

Sorry man, I don't see it happening. The Nintendo way is to make things using cheap parts. Problem is that those parts are usually easy to get, but with Wii U, they have been obsolete for years. I wouldn't be surprised if it costs more for them to produce a Wii U than it should. I really doubt there will be a price drop. If you're in the states you should buy a factory refurb from Nintendo. They sell for $200.

The perks of buying games day 1. No backlog.

So how much does it cost? The cheapest offers for a 4TB SSD are around €1300. The few seconds speed advantage in loading times wouldn't be worth the extra money to me (PS4 Pro + 4 TB SSD = €1700), so I really hope the HDD cage of the PS4 Pro will fit a 4TB HDD with 15 mm height.... these cost less than €200.

If the PS4Pro HDD cage is still too small for 15mm HDDs, I will probably buy this one for it:

It should be the fastest 2TB-HDD that fits in a PS4... it is the only 2TB-SSHD model available (existing?)
