Sorry man, I don't see it happening. The Nintendo way is to make things using cheap parts. Problem is that those parts are usually easy to get, but with Wii U, they have been obsolete for years. I wouldn't be surprised if it costs more for them to produce a Wii U than it should. I really doubt there will be a price drop. If you're in the states you should buy a factory refurb from Nintendo. They sell for $200.
