Wow, both a Neo reveal and NX reveal in the same month? Yes, please. I can't wait for these, both.

Unless Sony/MS are making a portable gaming tablet, they're really not going to steal Nintendo's "thunder" per se.

It would be like saying Sony better not show the PS4 because 3DS might steal its thunder ... these aren't even the same category of product.

Or another way of putting it would be the Wii U isn't bin competition with the ps4. Oh course they are to at least the degree that most people are only going to buy one. And ps's brand power is a LOT better than Nintendo's. The giant fish typically isn't scared of the small one

so what's your point? should they reveal the nx or not?

If it is a direct they would have to do something for the press. And they have done something like a direct/press even before. Where they started the press even before the direct so the press could get a good hands on with the software, and when the direct was finally over they encouraged the press that was there to do their reactions on their various sites, I know IGN did that and right after the direct was over they had a live reaction feed from the site they did the press event.

So this way Nintendo doesn't have to have that long of a direct, though I still think it will be longer than the usually 30-to-45 minutes. And then the press would help pad out the time.

Haven't owned a Nintedo since Gameboy OG but really looking forward to the NX announcement. Sounds like this could be interesting.
