Suppose it is where you look and how emotionally invested you are in a game and other's opinions of it. I've seen mixed reactions and even though I love No Man's Sky I get how people would be turned off by it. Any major title is bound to draw a reaction, I expect Final Fantasy XV for example to be one that will be hailed and reviled when ever it comes out.

Except the Steam version isn't being dogged for gameplay, it's being dogged for performance.

Oh yeah most definitely. FFXV will be one of the most divsive games ever.

Well holy shit, Sean it Peter Molyneux!

I'll give him the benefit of the doubt because it's still a really good game and there's hope that stuff will be added with patches. It seems that he had the intention to do it but time and budget came to an end. Now it's a huge success and money is flowing in, there's no reason to not add the missing stuff.

Next patch is very soon and will indicate his intentions.

Yup, that list is ridiculous. I was giving him the benefit of the doubt when the game launched, but a lot of this BS he was spewing was a week or less leading up to release. At that point you're not a developer trying to be passionate about your creation, you're simply a liar trying to dupe people into buying your game.

It's not really a hate bandwagon if it's deserved. Evolve, Battleborn, those were mostly mindless hate bandwagons. No Man's Sky is just people justified in their negativity imho.
