I predicted mid/high 70's IIRC. I guess it will fall a bit below that perhaps.

lol @ reviewers not "getting it". You could say that about any criticism of anything, ever. Critics just didn't "get" Battlefield Earth.

Lol I love this site when exclusives come out. Feelings are hurt and agendas are pushed. It's rather hilarious.

Lol at dumb comments.

OK I'll explain just this once because you're my favourite VGer.

This isn't unique to this game. There are plenty of games out there that are good but some reviewers give it a low score because they can't get on with it or they just don't get it.

I've explained in previous post why a reviewer might not get it or it's not for them but that's fine, it's their opinion. They aren't obliged to get on with it, they are entitled to their opinion and score it whatever they like.

The thing is with NMS it's split down the middle. You will see a lot of good reviews and a lot of bad reviews. What this tells us, a good game is there but some might not see it. If it was universally shit on then there is no argument, the game is shit and I wouldn't be able to say 'b b but reviewers don't get it'.

An example from my point of view is a JRPG, there are plenty of highly acclaimed JRPGs but put one in front of me and I'll most likely score it below a 5 from my POV. I could probably see it's a well put together game but playing it would melt my brain with boredom because I just don't get it. But that's my opinion and one I'm entitled to. Exactly how other reviewers are entitled to theirs.

Since I know how you operate and you will argue for the sake of it, if I don't reply, please refer to my sig :)

If you think it's dumb, you clearly just don't "get it", friend.

I hope you don't mind if I didn't read the rest.

It's 6 points higher than my guess.

The real question with NMS is who is enjoying the game more?

Is it the ones who bought it or the ones who didn't buy it but enjoy it failing?
:)

l <---- Do you mean this glitch Gribble?  If not, I'll keep looking.

I am on the other side of my sig....am I warm or cold?

Marco....

I don't think it's failing really, it seems to be selling quite well and it's not as if it's a terrible metascore.

GAF is starting to throw a fit about some planet movement, traveling, and of course MP stuff that was promised to be in the game and is not there. Wonder how big that ruckus will get. Some of the gifs and images they have made are pretty good.

Yeah, the idea that it's "failing" seems to be more wishful thinking than anything else. Especially since less than half of its reviews are scored so far and the score seems to keep going up as they come out. Plus, it does seem to be selling really well.

It certainly has it's problems but I'm enjoying it and I'm excited to see how it evolves over time.

Bet with Adamblaziken:

I bet that on launch the Nintendo Switch will have no built in in-game voice chat. He bets that it will. The winner gets six months of avatar control over the other user.

It's like wine. If you first try it, you think it tastes bad. But fine people always drink wine so there has to be something special about it. In the end, you get used to it and can talk like the fine people about wine.
