Don't wait too long, a lot of Wii U gems are getting hard to find, much of its library is of high quality, but getting hard to find, availability will only get worse, the NX may not be BC either, nothing confirmed yet

This is literally the worst possible time to buy a Wii U; it's still more or less full price, there are no exciting games releasing until March, the next console is due in less than a year and it still has major issues (tiny storage, poor online and a narrow software library).

Unless you can find a ridiculously good price for a second hand console I'd wait at this point. At least wait for the NX announcement to see if you'll want that.

You dont buy for future games at this point, you buy it for the games it already has, I'll be surprised if anyone buying now could play all the decent games in it's libary over the next year, it would be a momentus gaming enterprise :)

This is acually a good time to buy, it already has a huge library of great games that you dont have to wait for, with many that are cheaper if you can find them, waitig too long and you will miss some as they become rare at lower prices 

Waiting will only dissapoint you, waiting is time lost when you could be playing some of those great Wii U games now when you can still find them
