I guess the generals got tired of the "Erdogan clan"
But which General is the question.

NATO won't let Turkey fall into hostile hands. Too strategically important
My prediction threads:
Wii U will sell under 40m units (made on 14th September 2012)
PS Vita will sell under 20m units (made on 30th September 2012)
Wii U will sell under 7m in 2013 - I was right

Lets see. I'm sure they don't want an extermist nation on their hands either. Its best to sit back and wait.
Made a bet with LipeJJ and HylianYoshi that the XB1 will reach 30 million before Wii U reaches 15 million. Loser has to get avatar picked by winner for 6 months (or if I lose, either 6 months avatar control for both Lipe and Hylian, or my patrick avatar comes back forever).
Could be a good thing if the military imposes a secular government with liberal values.
Could be be very, very bad thing if this means Turkey devolves into civil war like Syria with Ergodan supporters fighting with the military/people who oppose Ergodan.
If this does not end in a month, then there will be a long civil war in Turkey & Turkey will be the next Syria.

IIRC the Syrian one was done by the people. You'd asume with this being done by the military they'd have planned it to be quick and decisive. |
From my understanding though even though Ergodan is a dick (from my POV anyway), he does have a good amount of support in Turkey and was elected with about 50% of the vote.
So I dunno ... I mean it would be nice if all those people now just accepted a secular military rule (assuming the military is true to their word, which who the fuck even knows at this stage) ... but I'm thinking this won't be as easy as that.

Lets hope it doesn't come to that. That would be a disaster for the world, Syria is bad enough as is.
