Remedy are well known for their work on Alan Wake, and now we have official confirmation that there will in fact be a second entry in the franchise. 

Game Informer asked Sam Lake, Creative Director of Quantum Break, 100 quick questions to prepare for their December cover, which is Quantum Break.

In the "interview", Game Informer asks him "Will we ever get to play Alan Wake 2?" and Sam Lake replies simply, "Yes."

Interested to see what they'll do with it.

The first Alan Wake had some really neat ideas and some really crazy ones. With a bit more direction, I feel they can put it together into something more solid.

Sweet, I enjoyed the first game a lot. Looking forward to the second one.
