I didn't expected it to flop but neither expected to sell that well.

This for expecations saleswise is definetly the most surprising for a 2015 title so far. It evem has crazy legs. It sold probably around 450-500k first week then legged out another 600k+ in 3weeks and still selling in july

It does look like a Wii game, which is more the sort of thing people want on a Nintendo console.
I describe myself as a little dose of toxic masculinity.

I don't think he means graphically, more like the game itself is something we would have seen on Wii.
When the herd loses its way, the shepard must kill the bull that leads them astray.
Maybe Nintendo is finally realizing that there are a lot of modern day gamers that like competitive online MP shooters.
Well, it's probably now moving to co-operative teams based online shooters now.
I was expecting 750-800k LTD.

Predictions for Nintendo NX and Mobile

Well it's not like multiplayer shooters haven't been popular on Nintendo platforms since like forever ...

One of the things that I don't think Nintendo "gets" is people *like* competetive multiplayer. *Competetive* though. Not cooperative. People like to compete.
Most of their competetive multiplayer titles were born in the 90s (Mario Kart, Smash Bros., GoldenEye, Killer Instinct). They haven't really made new competetive multiplayer centric games in a while. Wii Sports even kinda had that going for it I guess, just in a very casual sense.
The whole "lets hold hands and play together!" type concept that they're pushing in games like Yoshi's Wooly World and Mario 3D World ... that type of multiplayer just isn't as compelling.

But not in Japan.
