Lol, they haven't even delivered the first game to all platforms they promised it on and are already announcing a sequel, that's what we call a middlefinger to the fans.

Gonna have to agree with you there.

(Didn't think I'd ever say that, lmao)

Yeah shame on them for not wanting to release a subpar version of the game running at 20 fps. It's not their fault WIi-U can't handle the game.

Wii-U version port was dropped or back burnered due to the systems sales, not mhz. Doubtful that the dev were unable to port the game over if the potential sales were there.

OT : this is far too early to announce a sequal, first game isn't even fully out the door by them.

Why not check me out on youtube and help me on the way to 2k subs over at www.youtube.com/stormcloudlive

Didn't even know the first one was out. aha

''Studio boss Ian Bell said that the game's latest build was struggling to run smoothly on Nintendo's platform - currently at 720P with a framerate of 23fps, and revealed that they are not allowed to release a game that is running below 30fps, but "finding that extra 25% frame time is currently looking impossible''

Sounds pretty clear to me. And they haven't announced a date yet, just that they are working on a sequel. I personally don't think it's to early. Forza 6 is going to release two years after 5 to, and i think that's just fine. Not every racing game takes as long as GT (thankfully).

It's their fault for repeatedly telling people that it was going to work on Wii U, it is also their fault that they promised the game on Wii U in the first place (even though they seriously now have the audacity to say that the Wii U version has always been a "maybe"), make no mistake, everyone on here knows that I'm usually harsh on Nintendo but in this situation it is Slightly Mad Studios that shit the bed.

So it will release before or after The Last Guardian?

You mean before or after TLG's next trailer? Because if that's what you mean, it's a real question.

why announce it early? potential buyers of the 1st game would now hold on until this version. or unless the 1st game would have a huge discount price while waiting for this one.
not sure if the current owners have 100% completion of the game tracks to begin with and now announcing a new installment to their IP.

Well the first game only needed to sell about a million copies to be profitable and that goal was reached shortly after launch already. Still announcing a sequel this soon already is kinda a kick in the nuts to people that already bought the game. I'm pretty sure they will cut down the amount of DLC the first game will get now. Also some of the cars that where supposed to show up in the first game like the 2015 Ford Mustang GT might not show up after all and will probably be saved for the second game.
