I don't think you understand what project cars was trying to achieve.  It was never meant to be a competent racing sim, all it has ever tried to be is a pc benchmark game for people to measure the power of their rigs with, the whole "game" component was entirely secondary.

I guess the first one must have been profitable then.

After play the Alpha/Beta retail version I finally can enjoy the full game with pCARs 2.

Well a second game was rumored even before the first one came out. A bit too early to announce it already since the first one barely has been out a couple of month.

Really disappointed they cut the Wii U version like that so this one will probably not make it to the Wii U either

I guess the 1st one did way better than their expectations and they already have more than enough funds for the second one.
