Forums - Nintendo - I feel so cheated getting the Wii U

Then don't be. I got a PS3 in 2012 despite being predominantly a Sony/Nintendo gamer. I wasn't upset that the PS4 was clearly on the way, I just bought a bunch of games and had fun. I got a Wii U late 2013 (Which admittedly is the prime time to have gotten one) and I've been enjoying a backlog of Wii/U games. I just got a PS TV only to find out they STILL have no way of fully playing Uncharted on it. I'm just gonna enjoy what I've got and get what I want when I want it. That's why I won't have a PS4 until 2016.

You should check out my YouTube channel, The Golden Bolt!  I review all types of video games, both classic and modern, and I also give short flyover reviews of the free games each month on PlayStation Plus to tell you if they're worth downloading.  After all, the games may be free, but your time is valuable!

youll be fine, dont worry about it. the wii u has a ton of great games already. trust me, youll have a ton of fun with it and the games will provide hours of fun.

So sick of these threads. Even if Wii U only gets a 4 year life cycle, it will end up with not that many fewer great exclusives than Wii had. If the remaining 2015 releases + Zelda are all Wii U has left it will end up with around 20 very good exclusives, whereas I'd say the Wii had maybe 25. So not some huge difference there. Xbox only got a 4 year life cycle, and most people don't whine about that. Length isn't as important as the amount of worthwhile games. Of course where the Wii U falls so short is third party support, but no 5 or 6 or 7 year life span was going to do anything to help that.

When you buy something over $100, think about it before opening your wallet, it was obviously going to happen

Predictions for end of 2014 HW sales:

 PS4: 17m   XB1: 10m    WiiU: 10m   Vita: 10m

There are a bunch of great games out there and a few still to come.

No reason to feel cheated. I still don't get this concept.

Well, they do have some Wii U games coming until now til 2016. They're there. They'll likely announce a few more Wii U games once they've released all the currently planned ones. There's Fatal Frame, Wooly World, X, Super Mario Maker, SMT x FE, and Star Fox Zero coming within that time frame, so there'll be something to play still. Zelda will come out next year we know, so it's not like the Wii U is dead or anything.

Why in the world anyone who worries about the cash cost of a console would buy one 2 weeks before e3 is just amazing to me. No one to blame but yourself for not waiting to see what their next few years plan is.

Why not check me out on youtube and help me on the way to 2k subs over at www.youtube.com/stormcloudlive

You got dozens and dozens of games you can be playing now. I wouldn't worry about what has happened at E3. You already have access to hundreds and hundreds of games now. Go play!

Sell it, and buy a Vita if you want to feel even more neglected.

Sigs are dumb. And so are you!

get some games for it....
