No doubt. As  a multi-console owner I'm not really taking it as hard as most would with just one console.  We have 5-6 games this year for Wii U and currently have at least two confirmed for 2016. Afte that its a mystery. Were going to have to wait and see what 2016 brings for Wii U in its 4 year as a console,which most likely is its transition year.

The flipside is you being a new Wii U owner 3 years into its life cycle is that you currently have a backlog of pretty good games to keep you entertained for now

After 3 year, it does have a decent list of great exclusives. That's all it wil have, but that's good :p.

I bought my Dreamcast on 9/9/99. Never felt cheated. =P

It was awesome while it lasted. While not equally awesome, the Wii U is still worth it. I'm only hoping the Zelda they are developing for the console won,t be cross-gen... -__-

I got my wiiu 3 weeks ago. The E3 is soooooooo bad, but i don't feel Nintendo cheats me into buying wiiu. Wiiu has released for 3 years, and there are so many great nintendo games on it. No matter what games nintendo will release in 2015-2016, it is worth buying it.

To be honest, I think I got my moneys worth for purchasing the Wii U..

Smash U, MK8, Hyrule Warriors, The Wind Waker HD, Splatoon, etc.. is already enough for me to justify my purchase. I was expecting a slow down for Wii U games (though not by this much) but I guess not everyone thinks that a handful of games is enough to purchase a console.

Nintendo normally supports their consoles for like 4 years and then let them die, so I don't know what exactly you expected.

Don't worry according to johnlucas the Wii U will sell 500 million which will surely encourage more game development for the Wii U. Seriously though Its been apparent to nearly everyone, especially Nintendo for about 18 months that the Wii U will sell less than 20 million. They know its not in their interest to spend money making games for the Wii U with such a small install base, they're prepared to start again with a clean slate with the NX

Actually Nintendo released an infographic about upcoming retail wii u games and said there are more to be announced so lets wait a little.
