Not everyone at Kotaku is full of crap, they had some good articles about The Witcer 3 for example. I've never had a problem with their reviews, rather with their political opinion pieces.

Regarding Xenoblade, I'm actually shocked that I haven't been able to find more import previews and reviews. Was it the same for FFXIII?



I predict that the Wii U will sell a total of 18 million units in its lifetime.

It's a large game, it may be too overwhelming for reviewers that are not fluent in japanese or native to japan to take on and give it a fair assesment.

Sounds more like he doesn't like the kind of game. Xeno X is xenoblade chronicles enhanced in every aspect. Anyone who liked XC will love XCX.

If you liked Xenoblade you'll like this one, and vice versa. That's what I'm getting from this and other previews.

This is the first mainly negative import review I've seen. And the game really shouldn't be "boring" considering the quality of the original Xenoblade too. Will have to wait and see but there's some vaguely worrying vibes coming from the game right now. I feel like, after Witcher 3 and the like earlier this year, XCX will likely be downmarked for not doing the same thing which would be a shame.
