No matter how many games I start, I always have 50+ unstarted ones left. lol

I'm playing through Halo: Reach and I'm now convinced one of the reasons I used to avoid Halo and other 1st person shooters was because 30fps is awful. I just didn't realize it before. Well and most 1st person shooter campaigns suck.

30 framerate isn't so bad on 3rd person games and adventure games like Dishonored 2 but 60 should become a standard.

On top of 30fps Reach also has some serious hit detection issues. Enemies just sponge everything. They should give this game a MCC treatment. Firefight is fun.

So on the poll, I voted for the Flood/survival horror option and I think with something along the lines of a Dead Space vibe to it would be great idea for a spinoff but a close second would be a prequel FPS similar to Reach but where exactly in the timeline that would take place I have no idea.

I also wouldn't be mind something along the lines of ODST or some smaller campaigns as such in between the mainline Halo releases as either DLC of the current mainline Halo or preferably as a standalone game with price tags to reflect the nature of them.

Voted Halo 2 just because of Steve Vai. One of my favorite guitar players. I went to see him play in 2012, it was amazing.

hard to pick between Halo 2 and 3 but 2 barely edges it out.

There are quite a few contenders for the best Halo soundtrack for me and most games have at least one standout track with a 3-way battle between Halo 2, Halo 4 and Halo 5.

We have the likes of 117 , Arrival and Green and Blue from Halo 4 which are all great pieces and Halo 5 also some great stuff with Halo Canticles, The Trials and Osiris Suite, Act 1 amongst my favourites. The Halo 2 soundtrack is also great but I find that is more from the Nostalgia of Halo in the earlier days but I still haven't decided my actual favourite yet as I've been trying to for my post in the VGChartz top 50   soundtrack thread.

Halo 3 - Never Forget , Halo Wars - Spirit of Fire and Halo Reach - Winter Contingency are great songs for their respective games but I feel overall the soundtracks are weaker.

I am definitely leaning more towards Halo 5 than 4 currently to take my vote as Kazuma Jinnouchi has managed to hit such a good mix of old and new and I hope his services are retained for Halo 6.

Also maybe I'm reading too much into the wording here but...

"When it launches later this year"

It was already confirmed for Spring so why not just say Spring? I could see it slipping into Summer.

heh I dunno really as later this year is such a loose term even in 5 months from now is still the end of Spring and easily comes under the "later this year"

Hectic week ahead. Will definitely download MoHo... Also, voted Halo 5. Seriously, the music was the best in the series so far even with new takes on old tracks... The music was definitely the best thing besides the multiplayer.

Yeah but why not just say "When it launches in Spring" or something, unless the spokesperson just doesn't know that it's scheduled for Spring

Maybe they don't know or due to the date not been set it covers them for a slip into Summer :P Crackdown 3 is still hard to predict whether it arrives something along the lines of a month before E3 or are they planning to show it again at this E3 if they have made some big graphical improvements/cloud destruction is looking good to hype it up before saying it's coming in July.

Halo 2 soundtrack is easily the best.
