For some reason my Xbox was having an error and t made me do a system restore. I set my Xbox to New Zealand even though I live in west coast USA.
1) will setting it to this time zone allow me to play new games earlier on launch day?

2) will doing this cause my Xbox connection issues. For example when I play something like battlefield will it make me play on a server on the other side of the planet

3) can I change it back to west coast USA?

If you're purchasing from a region store that's ahead of your time zone, yes, you can play the game earlier than you usually would.

No, the store you purchase your games from has absolutely no influence on which servers you play on. I personally buy all my games from the US store, and I always play on EU servers (unless I'm playing on a friend's host from another country)

You can change your region/store whenever, and as many times as you want

Man, the damage control in some threads if it comes to Xbox One X possibilities to run games better. Ark dev "my game runs at 60fps on XBO X and 30fps on PS4 PRO".

Thread is like "what does he know"

Well, he knows that the XBO X version runs with 60fps.

People too hyped for AC Origins, as they're already in the Nile.

I'll see myself out.

I almost fell off of my chair. LOL

If you set your Xbox to NZ you will be able to play games earlier if you buy them directly from Xbox because the store will set to NZ as well. The problem is that you will probably need NZ credit card to buy games. I've never tried to buy something from another region so I can't tell exactly.

Literally cannot think of a more underwhelming release month. Smh Xbox.

July is usually pretty underwhelming on most consoles. For whatever reason the big publishers skip July like it has the plague, instead choosing to overcrowd the August-November window.

Microsoft should've chose this month to release crackdown instead of sending Crackdown to its death in November. I'll still buy it, but damn. You're right, this is an underwhelming month for Xbox. Well...along with the rest of the year for major releases.

What if the game isn't done yet?

At this point we're in they should be in the polishing phase. If the game isnt at least 95% done with all the time thats been given to them thats really bad. The fact they launch in November is as bad as Titanfall launching in November last year.

I'd just push Crack back to around Dec 7-14th. The release games for the X should've been Sea of Thieves(how freaking long), Forza, Crack and Lucky Tales. That's decent as hell.

Since it's a more powerful console same gen. The staggered game release doesn't really matter IMO. No need to put these games next to very established 3rd party IPs. Except Forza should switch with Lucky and let it be The launch showoff title. It can at least stand a better chance than Lucky

Surprised more are interested in Super Lucky's Tale than Cuphead.

I prefer Super Lucky's Tale. It reminds me of good old Mario...

It seems that the game isn't ready yet and maybe it won't be even ready by November when it releases. Also I don't think it will benefit that much by releasing in July instead of November.
