I'd like to buy The Witness, Mass Effect Andromeda, Kona and Little Nightmares but I probably wouldn't have time to play those at the moment anyway. Skipping this sale might be for the best.

I also took a trip down the memory lane and watched the 2013 Xbox One reveal again. I didn't even remember how terrible it was hehe. I remember not wanting to buy the damn thing. Funny enough, most stuff that pissed me off then probably wouldn't mean shit today. My Xbox is always online, I never rent games or buy used games, mostly buy digital content etc.

The worst thing about X1 is this touch power button. I've lost count how many online games I've lost because my kids touch it and turn off the console. Happened yesteday when I was trying to do this difficult Boss Hunt Boss achievement on Plants vs Zombies GW2 :P

I'm all digital now since the last part of the 360 and my Xbox's have been hooked up to the Internet everyday for the past 10+yrs. I didn't have too many problems with the reveal. Glad they changed it tho.

What was really funny to me was certain fans and ppl who weren't going to buy the system in the1st place were concerned about the internet in other places. Who gives a shit if internet in Morocco isn't working if you're not in Morocco? Lol. Everything was and still being used against MS.

How many of us have a backlog that just keeps growing? I'm not even sure I need to buy games for the next year. I'm at the point where if they stopped giving games with gold i wouldn't give a shit.

In 5 years, I played 100 games on the Xbox consoles, give or take. Got another 200 in the backlog. So, technically, I'm set for the next 10 years... My consoles won't survive that, though. :D

Edit: Just remembered that I have another 60 or so lined up to buy. I've become a collector at this point instead of a gamer.

Yep collector now smh

Yes, this is true. But I think that most of the people were more concerned about not being able to resale games than all that internet stuff. Because Xbox even now requires internet connection to activate as well as logging in Microsoft account.

Glad to see Ori being most wanted E3 game.

Literally cannot think of a more underwhelming release month. Smh Xbox.

For some reason my Xbox was having an error and t made me do a system restore. I set my Xbox to New Zealand even though I live in west coast USA.
1) will setting it to this time zone allow me to play new games earlier on launch day?

2) will doing this cause my Xbox connection issues. For example when I play something like battlefield will it make me play on a server on the other side of the planet

3) can I change it back to west coast USA?

Halo MCC will sell 5+ million copies(including digital)

halo 5 will sell 10 million copies(including digital)

x1 will pass ps4 in USA, and UK.

July is usually pretty underwhelming on most consoles. For whatever reason the big publishers skip July like it has the plague, instead choosing to overcrowd the August-November window.

Wish MS would release something in the Summer. But yeah Summer months aren't that great... Although next year with Red Dead probably in May it' going to be big!!

1. Only if you buy the game from the NZ marketplace. If you buy it from the US marketplace you wont be allowed to play early.

2. Not sure

3. Yes

Pretty sure that in games like Battlefield you can choose whichever server you want. But in all other games, I would guess they check your IP region to decide which server region would be best for you. So you'd need to use a VPN connection.
