You are overestimated the Xbox One's chances, seriously.

And you are overestimating the PS4 as well. Now of course it could win and whatever. All I'm stating is the XB1 is cheaper, and the PS4 has nothing else to boost its sales. Is that not true? The problem is, your analysis hinges on both consoles being otherwise equal in terms of sales potential, basically that since the Xbox One has a price advantage, and both have parity in terms of software releasing, the Xbox One has the better chance to win. However, that is neglecting to factor in the case that when both consoles WERE equal, in both price and software releasing that month, the PS4 just naturally outsold it.

 

Don't get me wrong, of course it has a chance to outsell the PS4, (technically speaking, any console does, including the WiiU) but in terms of probability, the odds are rather stacked against it. Even though the Xbox One has the price advantage, it's sales history suggests that in fact it is going into this month with a disadvantage, because it lacks the PS4's baseline sales. The Xbox One is going to be the proverbial underdog between the two, and although again, I wouldn't say anything is impossible, I certainly wouldn't call Xbox One the likely choice to win April. I wouldn't even claim the odds were even. =P I just think they're going to need to sweeten the pot even further to compensate for their natural sales disadvantage.

Doesn't matter, people didn't know that before! And I'm not saying the PS4 will win, I'm just pissed at the fact people think 1 3rd party game will seal the PS4 win!

Absolutely ZERO third party games sealed the victory for PS4. Bloodborne just made it no contest.

I'm not changing the poll. This is home consoles only, and the Wii U hasn't won a single NPD, so I'm not at will to add the Wii U. And what agenda? I'm not some Microsoft propoganda person on the forums doing this for a living. Ok, if you don't wanna vote for XB1, there's an option called PS4. Or if you don't want to vote, put something else here!

On one hand, you say that this is home consoles only and you will not add the Wii U because it hasnt won an NPD.

Hmm, no. Thats not how these things work. If youre going to make a legit thread for people to predict which console will win an NPD, you do it fairly and without discrimination. The 3DS was the best selling console in February and outsold the Xbox One in March, which tells me that it is having those "good months" you were talking about.

This thread really serves no purpose. You made it as an Xbox One vs PS4 thread and we already know the outcome due to what has released/ is yet to be released.

Its done. Im locking it up.
