What I did/ what you can do is take it as a loss (also you can easily buy your stolen good as they don't seem to be rare), and just slowly fade your friendship away.  Unfortunately if someone that you felt was really close to you and that could do something like that in your own house, then clearly this friend doesn't appreciate nor respect your friendship well enough and sadly isn't worth keeping.  And the fact that you guys are matured adult makes this worst. (more understandable for kids and teens)

You can confront about the situation and your friend could deny it (clearly a sign to end the friendship) but even if he admitted and gave you back your stuff or paid you back for it, it'll be really hard to trust him again in your house and might cause you to be paranoid if you did invite him back in.

I see that you appreciate his friendship more than he does or else he would have never done that to you, but this kind of friendship needs to be equally to maintained, not just you holding on.

I know its tough to end a best-friendship so best of luck and hope everything works out how you'd want it to.

You should confront him, but not directly at first, just ask him about the night and hint toward your missing game and amiibos. If he feigns ignorance, you could possibly be more direct and ask if he possibly would know why they are missing.

Though you are very certain that he took them, you don't truly know that and false accusations always ends up really badly

I think it is time for you to sit down with your wife and talk to her.  I fear amiibo and games might not be the only thing that he took away from you.
