Not a chance at GOTY. The original didn't get it so a remake with some added content definitely shouldn't.

Tearaway released in 2013, the biggest year ever for gaming imo! It had no chance against GTA V, The Last of Us, BioShock Infinite...
Tearaway Unfolded is releasing in 2015, the year is not as big as 2013 and Tearaway Unfolded is on PS4 where it will get a lot more attention. Tearaway Unfolded could get some GOTY-awards imo.

The opposite also can be said. Look at splatoon. OP suggested it might be goty. Why? Is it because its Wii u exclusive? Or it really deserves. Dont bother these things too much. Just enjoy the damn game. And for the record everyone knows I am playstation guy who is way to anti(other systems). But "if" I had wii u I would definitely picked up xenoblade.

You make it (and others) look like im being biased, i think it has a chance of being a 90+ game because i know of the game. Simple as that, if i were because it was a wiiu game, i be listing Star Fox up there as well as Yoshi Wolly World/Mario Maker/etc.

Again If you followed Splatoon, you see it is a potential hit review/critically wise. Check out impressions on the game too.

Hasn't released yet but best thing in the world? 'Acclaimed from many to be top JRPG of last gen' but no source of who this 'many' is...

I was actually joking^ Basically saying the opposite. (in terms of best thing in the world). As for the acclaimed, look up reviews for XC and then you'll see the "many"

Xenoblade Chronicles X better get it, I think its going to deserve it. But I have a feeling it won't. Why? Cause that's what happened with Bayonetta 2. Myself and many others who have played both Dragon Age: Inqusition and Bayonetta 2 believe B2 should have gotten the award.

With that out of the way, I hope Xenoblade gets it. I really do. It now has a chance since Zelda and Uncharted are out of the way.

See my other responses. Its Japan centric. Plus art style might make some reviewers to dislike it. As for the numbers wait till release. We are too busy talking about things that nobody knows.

If you had played the first game and you had seen every direct, you could know why Tbone is saying this. The game is going to be better than the previous one. Is writting on the walls.

XCX will probably deserve GOTY and even GOTG. But if we're talking about western gaming media in it's current state, it has no chance at all.
